Hectic Ant

Genre:Productivity
Price: Free
Release Date: March 26, 2009

Code Viewer is a source code visualizer with syntax highlighting, supporting C, C++, C#, Objective-C, Java, Perl, Python, Ruby, Javascript, Visual Basic, HTML/XML and more.

* Code Viewer 2, with new and redesigned features, is available at the U.S. and Canada App Stores.

Sources can be viewed in portrait or landscape orientation, with zoom and scrolling enabled. However, there is no need to scroll through hundreds or maybe thousands of lines of code. The bookmarks view lists function signatures and enables quick navigation to function definitions. And, if you don’t like the default colors you can always pick another theme.

To upload files a WiFi connection to a local network is required. Code Viewer imposes a single file size limit of 200KB but you can upload multiple files using zip archives, which can be 4.0MB long. The steps to upload files are as follows

1. Join a local wifi network, for instance, your home network.
2. Go to the ‘Settings’ panel and make sure ‘File Upload’ is on.
3. Open a browser where you have the files you want to upload, e.g. your laptop, and go to the URL after ‘Upload To’ in the Settings panel. Include the :9393 part.
4. Click ‘Choose File’ to add a source file or a zip file; click submit to upload the file.
5. After uploading the file the page displays any errors that may have occurred.
6. All done! The file you uploaded should be in ‘My Code’.

File Upload can be turned off any time in the Settings panel, where you can find other options such as the automatic renaming or removal of files.
